43 yrs ago Wayne and Emma Jean Morrell started Morrell’s in their back yard. Wayne was a purchasing agent at a mobile home manufacturer and started buying damaged material from the plant and bringing it home. Business picked up and he starting buying scrap from other plants in the area.  While Wayne worked at the plant Emma Jean was doing the selling. The family home is next door to current location and has always been a family affair. David and his 3 sisters worked in business until a few years ago.

As David and his sisters graduated from high school they assumed more and more of the management positions. Wayne is 85yrs young and still drops by to keep everyone in line and be there for his valuable advice.  Wayne felt the only way to succeed was to work for yourself and he instilled those values in his children.  Wayne always loved a good deal and still get excited when a good opportunity arises.

Rhonda (Pauls wife) Vonada, Gwen & JB Parrish have been a strong part of business for years. They all still live on family property and still love the business after all these years.  Morrell’s is a family business and they treat everyone like family.
